New site!!!

We have created a new site--I know, so many, constantly editing, changing. It is called American Dog, and the URL is:

www.americandogteam.blogspot.com

It is still partly under construction. Because of this, there will be a large lack of posts on both Paws & Hooves and Horses and Friends. There will, however, still be Horse Sense magazine issues. Thank-you for understanding.

Sorry.....

We missed the February issue, but the March issue is soon coming! Those who did the 'Find it's' will still receive a free issue.

Surprise #4--my first book for Horses and Friends!!!

Man O' War, A Legendary Racehorse--it is book #1 of the Champion Racehorse Series. I plan to make more, ones that include "Ruffian, Girls Can do it, too," and "Secretariat, A Fiery Horse." This is only what I am thinking about, however, and not positive fact, so do not expect anything.
The current book, however, is a complete biography on Man O' War. It starts when he is a tiny foal with his mother, Mahubah, to when he is buried at Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. It includes a five-chapter biography, a few of Man O' War's descendants, A Quick-Fact page on Man O' War, so that you don't have to read through the whole book to find something you want, Man O' War's major racing wins and awards, and a page set apart for some of his photos.
Hope you enjoy!!! All of the proceedings will go to Missy and someday, Cowboy.
Have a nice day!!!!

January '08 Horse Sense Magazine--Now Available!!

Sorry we were a little late on this one. But perhaps you won't mind, as there are three new things in this magazine--like I told you a while back. There are 20 pages, and a new game, "Find it." This game will only be presented this month, and perhaps others, if I ever have the time. You must find six things, listed one the last page, and one secret thing that I will not show you--then you will win a free February issue of Horse Sense Magazine!!! This is only valid until January 25th. When you find everything, please follow these steps carefully:

1. Email me with "Find it" in the subject line; no other subject will be accepted.

2. Be sure to include the page numbers of every single "Find it" item.

3. Describe EXACTLY where the item is found on that particular page.

4. Please only email me when you have found every single one, and not when you have only found a few, and are still looking for the others.

5. If you have any questions, email me. The subject line may have anything in it for this type of email, but please do not put in "Find it," as this will make me confused.

The other two new things are the History of the Horse and Horse Sense Sales. History of the Horse is an article that starts from the beginning of time and slowly, over many years of magazines, comes down to present. Hopefully you will learn something from this (all Bible verses are strictly KJV [King James Version]). Horse Sense Sales is for anyone who is looking for something in particular or selling something in particular (preferably horses) and is kind of like an advertisement corner of the magazine. Email me with "Horse Sense Sales" in the subject line if you would like to submit something, and be sure to say whether it belongs in the "Looking for" or "For Sale" section.
Have fun!!!! Happy New Year!!!!
